So on the way to my friend’s baby shower I stopped at a rest stop to get a drink, use the restrooms, etc. Well I noticed that there was a self serve kiosk thingy for the Pennsylvania Lottery! How neat! I’m all about the self serve things in life – I love the machines they have at Wawa so I can build my own sandwich, I love to check myself out at the grocery store, etc. So of course I decided that I need to give it a whirl. I bought a few Powerball tickets for last night.
The drawing was last night (which I forgot about until I saw the tickets on my fridge this morning) so I put the tickets in my wallet so I could check them this morning. Sadly, I didn’t win the jackpot! But I wasn’t a complete loser either! I won the whole $3!!! I’ll try not to spend it all in one place.
Notice that the one ticket has the Power Play – which last night was 5 (I just learned this morning what that even means!) – why couldn’t that have been on the ticket where I actually matched the Powerball?! Then I would’ve won a whopping $15! But I must admit that when I purchased the tickets, I had no clue what I was doing! My Grandmother would be horrified. Her and my Aunts were the Queens of the lottery. I swear to you that they bought like $20 of tickets EACH daily.
And don’t forget the scratchies…

$3! Make me holla! I don't understand the lotto either. It's pretty pathetic.
